Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana Project (RSBY) –
Rashtriya Swasthaya Bima Yojna is a Central Government Scheme announced by the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the Independence Day in 2007. It is a new health insurance scheme for the Below Poverty Line (BPL) families in the unorganized sector. It was formally launched on October 1, 2007. The objective of RSBY is to provide the insurance cover to below poverty line (BPL) households from major health shocks that involve hospitalization. There is a 5 year plan for rolling out the RSBY which allows each participating state to contract 20 per cent of their respective districts each year. By April 1, 2008, almost every large state govt. has expressed its intention of joining the scheme. The states of Haryana and Rajasthan have already finished their Enrollment process.
Passport Sewa Kendra Project (PSK) –
The National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) approved by the Government of India includes many high impact e-Governance initiatives and projects that have been identified as Mission Mode Projects (MMP’s). One such MMP focuses on Passport Issuance System in India.The MMP on Passports, named Passport Seva Project, aims at providing all the Passport-related services to the citizens in a speedy, convenient and transparent manner.
The objectives of this project include establishing a secure & error-free Passport issuance system that compares with the best in the world, Issue Passports (fresh and re-issue) in 3 working days (for ‘No’ or ‘Post’-police-verification cases), Issue Passports (fresh and re-issue) in 3 working days plus the time taken for Police Verification (for ’Pre’-police-verification cases), Issue Passports under Tatkaal scheme within the same day and provide a portfolio of ONLINE services to the citizens
The scope of work involves acquisition of required space in the cities / locations in a centrally situated commercial area which is easily accessible to public and has ample parking space, providing required infrastructure like furniture, AC, UPS power etc., providing LAN, Work stations, printer, scanner, digital camera, card reader, connectivity, CCTV, Security system, Help desk & call centre, front office operation and application form processing. Vakrangee has successfully executed 6 Pilot sites for Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) project as a build partner with TCS. As a part of this project, Vakrangee and TCS are building Passport offices over the entire country for the Govt. of India.
Digitization of ROC records under MCA 21
Vakrangee is proud to be a part of “Award Winning” e-governance initiative of Government of India MCA21 – for 22 ROCs across the country. The scope of this project ranges from digitization of ROC records by setting up digitization centers and facility management centers. Vakrangee has completed digitization of 12 million ROC documents well within the stipulated time frame of one year.
Digitization of Land Records for the Govt. of Philippines –
Vakrangee has forayed into the international markets with this project which involves digitization of Land Title records of Philippines at over 168 locations. The scope of this project ranges from Scanning and Encoding, Data Migration, Indexing, Data Cleansing etc.
